Table Top Patio Heaters

The table top patio heater is a new idea and is a lot cheaper than its bigger brother, the free standing patio heater. It is a great idea and is obviously far more portable than a full size heater, ideal for taking on picnics, camping holidays and bar-b-ques. The table top patio heater does however loose out on power giving out an average of 4.5kw. Although this does ensure that the patio gas bottle will last longer.

The table top patio heater does look great on your table and allows equal heat distribution to all of your guests. This smaller patio heater still retains heat control and built in ignition. More importantly it still has automatic cut off if knocked over (due to its size and weight this is a bigger hazard than with the full sized version)

All table top patio heaters come with a longer hose as the patio gas bottle remains on full view. The same click on regulators are also supplied. The table top patio heater as yet is not available with a built in light, but is available in a range of colours and designs.

New technology is enabling table top patio heaters to be designed which are not only sleek and elegant, but also extremely energy efficient. These use surface combustion technology rather than the traditional burner/emitter assembly resulting in a far more efficient way to produce infrared energy. Consuming only 2.7 kilowatts of energy, it is nonetheless capable of producing a 3-4-metre heat circle. This makes it possible to make a standard gas bottle last approximately 100 hours. The universal clamp will fit any table with a parasol hole of between 30-60mm in diameter.

The average cost for a table top patio heater is approx £70-90.
